The Los Angeles Marathon had two finish lines Sunday — and people aren’t happy about it. While the winner, Nathan Martin of Michigan, took first place over Michael Kamau of Kenya, there was an early escape route on offer as temperatures hit 88 degrees.
USA's Nathan Martin won the men's race at the 2026 Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday morning in an epic finish. Martin chased down Kenya's Michael Kimani Kamau at the finish line and dove past him to win the race by less than a second. It's the closest finish in the history of the L.A. Marathon.
