In response to the scandal involving two Cleveland Guardians pitchers, Major League Baseball and sportsbooks agreed to limit bets to $200.
The pitch-level bets, which include wagers on the type of pitch and the velocity, will also be excluded from parlays.
Cleveland Guardians pitchers Emmanuel Clase and Luis L. Ortiz have been indicted on charges that stem from alleged gambling misconduct as it pertains to manipulating wagers on specific pitches, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York announced on Sunday.
