Hurricane Gabrielle has intensified to a Category 1 hurricane and is projected to become a major hurricane in the central Atlantic, the National Hurricane Center reported Sunday evening. The hurricane center is also tracking two other systems in Gabrielle’s wake with medium to low chances of formation over the next week.
