Right now, you’re getting a 65-inch QLED display with Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio, plus Fire TV built in-all for $299. Paying less than what basic 32-inch TVs without smart features sell for at full retail, the $200 discount amounts to 40 percent off a television that already competed at the budget end of the large-screen market.

Amazon Fire TV Omni Mini-LED (65-Inch)
The Fire TV Omni Mini-LED looks very similar to the Omni QLED, with an almost nonexistent flat dark gray bezel along the sides and top, framed by a beveled metallic strip that gives the TV a sleek look without being distractingly reflective.
In a statement to Android Authority, an Amazon spokesperson confirmed that Vega OS isn’t intended to replace Amazon’s older platform, Fire TV OS, but rather to “extend” it. The spokesperson shared the following statement:
At $99, you’re paying roughly $3.10 per inch of screen which undercuts most budget TVs by 30 to 40%. Competing 32-inch smart TVs from TCL, Insignia, and Hisense generally run between $130 and $180 with similar specs. The integrated Fire TV platform saves an additional $30 to $50 you’d otherwise spend on streaming sticks.

Amazon Fire TV Soundbar
You can also connect over optical audio, but in that case you’ll need to use the soundbar’s remote to adjust the volume. The Fire TV Soundbar also has Bluetooth for streaming music from your phone, though Amazon doesn’t specify what Bluetooth codecs it supports. Again, neither of these features have anything to do with Fire TV.
Amazon has confirmed that it’s not giving up on Android for its Fire TV lineup just yet, implying that its new Vega OS might focus mainly on low-end or low-power devices.
As usual, Kindle deals are slim to none ahead of the official event kick off. We expect those to drop later this week. Echo deals are also lacking, but we'll be keeping an eye on the new Echo Show 8,
