Easter weekend is expected to bring a mix of sun and storms to much of the U.S. Severe storms with hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes are possible Friday in the Southern Plains and Midwest.

High winds, a risk of dangerous tornadoes and a mix of rain, snow and ice are in store around the country on April 3 ahead of the Easter holiday weekend, which could bring more "unsettled" weather.
