Russian drones in Poland: Nato takes action after airspace breach; launches ‘Eastern Sentry’
In a swift response to a Russian drone incursion into Polish airspace earlier this week, NATO on Friday announced the launch of a new defensive initiative, dubbed “Eastern Sentry,” aimed at strengthening its eastern flank across member states.
A NATO spokesperson said the incident marked the first time that NATO aircraft "have engaged potential threats in allied airspace."
