After an Achilles injury sidelined him for about a year, Browns QB Deshaun Watson has been designated to return to practice.

The Cleveland Browns quarterback carousel will soon get another participant, as the team designated Deshaun Watson to return to practice for the first time since rupturing his Achilles last October. Watson has 21 days to practice or he will remain on injured reserve for the rest of the season.

Jordan Phillips stayed down on the field after a 9-yard run by TreVeyon Henderson in the second quarter on Sunday. Phillips was able to get to his feet and walk off under his own power. He went into the blue medical tent and the locker room for further evaluation and did not return.

The Cleveland Browns have three weeks to decide whether quarterback Deshaun Watson will be playing this season.
