Tropical Storm Gabrielle to become a Hurricane

According to the National Hurricane Center, Gabrielle is forecast to pass east of Bermuda late Sunday into Monday and strengthen into a hurricane.

The National Hurricane Cente r is tracking several systems in the Atlantic basin Sept. 20, and that includes Tropical Storm Gabrielle, which is expected to turn north and head in the direction of Bermuda, before becoming a hurricane.
The center of Tropical Storm Gabrielle was located near latitude 20.3 North, longitude 51.7 West, moving toward the west-northwest near 15 mph. This motion is expected to continue over the next couple days followed by a northwestward turn this weekend. Maximum sustained winds remain near 50 mph with higher gusts.
