AP Top 25 Extra Points: No. 22 North Texas ends FBS' longest ranking dry spell and re-enters CFP mix

Texas A&M maintained its standing in the top three after a comeback win over South Carolina, while Texas Tech moved up two spots to No. 6. Oklahoma is also in the top 10 after its upset of Alabama. Meanwhile, Texas fell to No. 17 after its stumble on the road at Georgia.
Six teams in the AP Top 25 lost in Week 12, including two from the ACC and two from the SEC. Several others escaped upsets.
