Texans fans are waiting with baited breath for CJ Stroud to return but the latest update does not seem very promising.

The absence casts doubt on Stroud's status for a second straight week. He missed Houston's 36-29 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday after being concussed against the Denver Broncos the week before. Stroud was ruled out early in the week by head coach DeMeco Ryans and did not participate in a single practice before the Jaguars game.
