KJ Apa's role in the upcoming Jimmy Stewart biopic is taking the internet by storm. On Tuesday, August 5, Apa, 28, was announced as the star of the movie, aptly titled Jimmy, via the film's official Instagram page.

A biopic about Hollywood legend Jimmy Stewart, titled 'Jimmy,' is in the works. 'Riverdale' alum KJ Apa will play the late Oscar winner, with Jason Alexander, Max Casella and Jen Lilley also in the cast.
