Rickie Fowler is surging up the leaderboard at the St. Jude Championship, but the challenge is it may not be enough. Fowler is fighting to advance in the FedExCup Playoffs but will need an impressive showing on Sunday to secure a tee time at the BMW Championship.

Bud Cauley, who seven years ago nearly saw his career end after an auto accident, began the year on a major medical extension that had carried over from 2024. He saved his season with a clutch T-6 at the Players, and on Sunday he extended it thanks to a dramatic bunker shot at the FedEx St. Jude Championship.
