The 2025 Little League World Series is officially off and running. Eight teams continue their quest to win it all in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, on Sunday in the annual summer tournament. A new winner will be crowned in 2025, too, after last year's champion, Lake Mary, Florida, was eliminated in the regional round.

The New England regional champs got strong pitching from Frankie Fasoli and Cam Naumann, and big hits from Caden McCarthy and Sam Trotta to earn the victory in Williamsport, Penn.

The Fairfield National team beat Richmond, Texas 1-0 in the first game of the Little League World Series Wednesday night in Williamsport, Pa.

Lamar Little League, located in Richmond, scored two runs in the fifth to beat Louisiana and secure its third trip to the Little League World Series in Williamsport.

Fairfield National started the Little League World Series on the right foot. Fairfield, playing as the Metro team, defeated the Southwest team, 1-0, on Wednesday night in the first game of the tournament for both teams.

The Braintree Little League team suffered its first loss of the summer Thursday, falling 13-0 to Irmo, South Carolina in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
