INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis Colts coach Shane Steichen prefers being the aggressive play-caller. He likes taking chances on third down, would rather go for it on fourth down than punt and enjoys finding creative ways to stretch the field. Right now, though, Steichen can't simply rely on his instincts.

Philip Rivers is set to make another improbable start, as Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen confirmed the 44-year-old quarterback will start Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers.

Though his Hall of Fame candidacy now has to wait, Rivers unlocked some important health benefits with his return.
