Air quality alerts are in effect in the Philadelphia area, fueled by smoke from wildfires that are burning thousands of miles away.

Canadian wildfire smoke will impact portions of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic for the early part of the week. While nothing compared to the summer of 2023, wildfire smoke will create a hazy/smoky sky at times on Monday across northeast and central Pennsylvania.
