Video captured by local affiliate Fox 11 and obtained by Fox News showed more than a dozen armed, masked Border Patrol agents positioned just outside the rally. The footage depicts agents escorting a man away in handcuffs as onlookers shouted in protest.
As California Governor Gavin Newsom was verbally bashing President Donald Trump in a Los Angeles auditorium Thursday afternoon, Border Patrol agents swarmed outside and made at least one arrest. News video showed a group of agents in tactical gear as someone wearing handcuffs was escorted through the crowd.
The armed and masked agents assembled outside a museum where the governor was speaking in what Mayor Karen Bass of Los Angeles called “a provocative act.”
