Rian Johnson’s TV whodunit Poker Face has officially been cancelled by Peacock after just two seasons, though the director has said he will now attempt to save the show by shopping it to another streamer — with a completely different actor in the leading role.

However Poker Face decides to handle things should it get picked up, some continuity should carry over, preferably in a way that specifically nods to Lyonne’s origination of the character. Maybe every Charlie Cale should have Lyonne’s voluminous curly red hair.

If it were to return, the show's creator is seeking a two-season commitment. A new lead actor would also be cast.
