Lando Norris has prevailed in a wet and rainy qualifying from Las Vegas, edging out Max Verstappen for pole position by 0.323 seconds. Carlos Sainz came third while Oscar Piastri, Norris' teammate and championship rival, finished fifth. Lewis Hamilton suffered a shock in Q1, exiting in 20th and last place.
