Prince William and Kate Middleton were seen greeting King Charles as the royal family gathered at the Tuesday, September 16, funeral for Katharine, the Duchess of Kent. The ceremony may have been the first time the Prince and Princess of Wales saw the patriarch since he shockingly reunited with Prince Harry in the U.

King Charles faces a difficult position between sons Prince Harry and Prince William as their ongoing feud continues while he battles an undisclosed form of cancer.

Though the meeting was private, it could be an indicator of Prince William continuing to step into more of a statesman's role as his father's heir to the throne. He previously met with Trump, as well as then-first lady Jill Biden, at the reopening of Notre Dame in December 2024 as a representative of King Charles .

But that’s not all, according to the Daily Mail, the heir to the throne is angry his brother is being welcomed back by King Charles. “William is back at the point where if you mention Prince Harry in his presence he would throw you out of the room,” a palace insider told the outlet. “He’s doubling down.”

Prince Harry's visit to Britain, during which he met with King Charles, turned up the heat on Prince William and Princess Kate.
