There are not many franchises that have maintained the same high level of pulse-pounding quality that the "John Wick" series has. Across its five film installments, the franchise has delivered one breathtaking action set piece after another.

Like Wick before her, Eve is driven by a personal vendetta: the brutal murder of her father when she was still a child by highly trained and heavily armed assassins. Winston (Ian McShane) brings her to the Ruska Roma, where Eve excels at her training as a "Kikimora," serving as an assassin or a bodyguard, as the situation requires.

With 'Ballerina' in theaters and a Donnie Yen feature on the way, there are still plenty of ways to expand the 'Wick' universe.
