South Carolina women’s basketball earned the inaugural “Real SC” title with a 69–52 win over USC women's basketball.

Joyce Edwards had 17 points and 10 rebounds and No. 2 South Carolina beat Jazzy Davidson and eighth-ranked Southern California 69-52 on Saturday night in a matchup billed as The Real SC at Crypto.com Arena. Raven Johnson and Tessa Johnson scored 14 points each for the Gamecocks (4-0), who lost to UConn in the national title game last season.

Less than five minutes into South Carolina’s final road game of the season against No. 3 Texas A&M, the Gamecocks’ leading receiver was quarterback LaNorris Sellers. The leading quarterback was wide receiver Brian Rowe Jr.

After the incident, the Texas A&M Police announced on X/Twitter that the trooper involved in the incident was relieved of his game assignment. The Aggies erased a 27-point lead and pulled out a miraculous 31-30 comeback win to remain undefeated.
