Universities and colleges across Florida are closing campuses as Hurricane Milton heads to the coast of Florida.

Three New Hampshire students attending college in Florida were able to find flights home as highways were clogged and airports prepared to close before Hurricane Milton hit the state.

Even though Palm Beach Atlantic University is on the east coast of Florida, the school was concerned enough about the potential damage from Milton that it ordered the evacuation.
