Electronic Arts is laying off hundreds of workers and is canceling a Titanfall game that was in development at its Respawn Entertainment unit, Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday.

Mega video game publisher Electronic Arts has canceled its upcoming "Titanfall" franchise video game and laid off more than 300 of its employees

Electronic Arts has reportedly laid off 300 and 400 people, according to a new Bloomberg report, including roughly 100 at Apex Legends studio Respawn Entertainment. Respawn has also cancelled at least two early-in-development projects, one of which was reportedly a Titanfall-based extraction shooter.
