The New York Knicks ' coaching search has led them to Dawn Staley, the longtime women's coach at South Carolina and one of the most accomplished players and coaches the women's game has ever seen. South Carolina athletic director Jeremiah Donati recently confirmed that the Knicks have indeed reached out to Staley.

According to On3 Sports, the New York Knicks have reached out to South Carolina about Staley, a Philadelphia native, for their vacant coaching opening after firing Tom Thibodeau.
