Dan Campbell still has his mojo, even without his prized coordinators from last season. The Detroit Lions’ risk-taking head coach made the big-time call on fourth-and-2 from midfield while protecting a 31-24 lead with just over two minutes to play during a “Monday Night Football” classic.

The Lions hosted defensive end Quinton Jefferson on a free agent visit, according to Tuesday's transaction report. Jefferson has 28.5 career sacks in nine NFL seasons. He played in seven games for the Buffalo Bills and five for the Cleveland Browns last season.
