An Arapahoe County jury has returned a guilty verdict for first-degree murder in the trial of James Craig, the Colorado dentist accused of poisoning and killing his wife with poison.

A Colorado dentist was sentenced to life in prison Wednesday after being convicted of killing his wife by lacing her protein shakes with poison before delivering a fatal dose of cyanide when she was in the hospital.

James Craig was convicted of first-degree murder in the 2023 death of his wife, Angela Craig. Prosecutors say he served her protein shakes laced with arsenic and later poisoned her with cyanide at a hospital.
