The Atlanta Falcons technically showed up for Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers, but it didn't seem like it. The Panthers shut the Falcons out, 30-0, to get their first win of the season in Week 3. From interceptions to missed field goals, Sunday's loss was about as bad as it gets for Atlanta.

Down 20-0 at the 1:40 mark of the third quarter, Atlanta decided to go on a fourth-and-8 from Carolina's 31-yard line. That's when cornerback Mike Jackson picked off Penix and returned the takeaway to the Falcons' 30-yard line.

The Carolina Panthers pulled off a mini-shocker by shutting out the Falcons on Sunday. It was quite a result for a team that stumbled out of the gate this year.
