An arbitration panel on Monday ruled 2-1 in favor of Alex Rodriguez and Marc Lore in their quest for a controlling ownership stake of the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves and the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx.

The ownership transfer of the Minnesota Timberwolves must continue as originally planned, after a three-person arbitration panel ruled 2-1 that controlling owner Glen Taylor must cede control of the NBA club to partners Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez in the disputed final phase of the $1.

A three-person panel ruled in favor of Lore and Rodriguez, setting them up to take full control of Minnesota's NBA and WNBA teams.
