A’ja Wilson is now in a ‘league of her own’ after becoming the first player in WNBA history to win a fourth MVP trophy, and the Las Vegas Aces star was able to receive the league’s top accolade in style on Sunday.
Not only is Wilson the first four-time MVP in WNBA history, but she is also the first back-to-back MVP winner since Cynthia Cooper in 1997-98. She also joins NBA legends Bill Russell, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James as the only players to win the NBA or WNBA MVP award four times before reaching the age of 30.
