EDMONTON -- The Florida Panthers are one win from repeating as Stanley Cup champions, but they’re still learning, still improving. They showed it in a 5-2 win against the Edmonton Oilers in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final at Rogers Place on Saturday, taking a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Luostarinen sent the puck bouncing and rolling nearly the full length of the ice in the final stretch of Game 5 Saturday night. And when it went in the empty net to seal the 5-2 win against the Oilers, the Panthers could do something they hadn’t all night.
